Adult Sailing Classes for 2022 opens for registration on 4/1/2022:
The Corinthian Sailing Club is an all-volunteer club, and all boats are privately owned. Therefore, we are not in a position to offer sailing classes to the general public. However, each spring, we offer adult “learn to sail” courses for regular or associate club members. The course costs $50, and includes the Learn to Sail textbook. Training is typically in Flying Scots, Corinthians, and Snipes. Points to be covered include seamanship, leaving the pier, sailing upwind and on other points of sail, tacking, jibing, returning to pier, rules of the road and basic knots. The sessions will be on the water as long as the weather cooperates.
June Lessons will be held on June 9, 14, and 16 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on the docks near the clubhouse.
