Once again, The Corinthian Sailing Club is offering Sailing classes for adults on members’ Flying Scotts and Corinthians on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning May 7th through the 23rd. Learn the basics of sailing, meet new people, and experience White Rock Lake like never before!
Students will receive hands-on experience sailing from veteran Corinthian Sail Club sailors. The classes will begin at 6:30 p.m. Points to be covered include seamanship, leaving the pier, sailing upwind and on other points of sail, tacking, jibing, returning to the pier, rules of the road, and basic knots. The sessions will be on the water on club members’ Flying Scots and Corinthians as long as the weather cooperates.
All adult members of the Sailing Club who are 18 years old and up and are interested in learning to sail are invited to apply to take the class.

Fees are $50 per registrant.
